Novato Garden Club Scholarship Program – In 2015 a scholarship program was established with a generous donation from a long-time member.  Scholarships are given to continuing students attending College of Marin in disciplines leading to careers in horticulture, agriculture, floriculture or other related fields.  Each year the Club transfers funds to the Scholarship Program to insure that at least one scholarship can be given to a student. The student must be a Novato resident in need of financial assistance. The Scholarship Fund is a Restricted Fund. Donations are given from the from Club members,  outside community and the City Beautification Fund.  The Novato Garden Club is a 501 C3 non-profit organization. Donations to the fund are tax deductible.

Penny Pines – In 1999 The Club adopted this program to support reforestation in Northern California. Coins and small bills are collected at each General Meeting.  Donated funds are sent annually to USDA Forest Service National Reforestation Program. The Club has designated the El Dorado National Forest for our donation.
